Prince Harry’s request to Meghan, “don’t want to do this alone,” in advance of her trip to the United Kingdom

The impending journey to the United Kingdom is something that Prince Harry, Prince William, and King Charles are all looking forward to with great anticipation. Would a trip to London be able to heal the gulf that has existed between the brothers for many years? Time is the only thing that can tell. On the other hand, sources close to the situation have lately asserted that Prince Harry has ‘made a plea’ to his wife Meghan Markle, requesting that she accompany him on his Invictus gaming schedule.

“I don’t want to do this alone,” the Duke of Cambridge said, according to a source that was reported by GB News. The source indicated that the Duke had invited Meghan to accompany him on the trip. During their conversation, he even said that he did not wish to continue to take “solo trips to the UK.” Before that, Harry paid a personal visit to King Charles after getting a phone call from him after he was informed that he had been diagnosed with cancer. Meghan did not accompany, even though the trip was rather brief.

A further statement was made by the source, which stated, “He [Harry] would prefer it if the entire family made regular visits to see his family and build bridges, but there is so much going on behind the scenes that it just isn’t possible at the moment with the current circumstances.”After that, the insider went on to clarify that Harry and Meghan had intended to travel to the United Kingdom with their children, but she changed her mind when the precise date and time of the Invictus Games were revealed to the entire world. After further investigation, the insider stated that Meghan was no longer confident in bringing her family to London owing to concerns regarding their safety.

At this point, the question that needs to be answered is whether Harry should undertake it alone or whether the family should attend alongside heightened protection. When the duchess was last in the United Kingdom, she went there for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, which took place in 2022. According to earlier reports, Meghan turned down an offer extended by Prince William and Kate due to worries regarding the safety of her family. The fact that Harry was unsuccessful in his legal battle to obtain security for himself and his family in London was the source of these worried feelings.

Now, the Duke of Sussex is expected to travel to the United Kingdom in May for his commitment to the Invictus Games; however, it is yet unknown whether or not his wife and children will accompany him on this trip. Even Harry is hesitant to come to the United Kingdom with his family, especially his children, including his son Archie and daughter Lilibet, according to the Daily Mail. This is the case unless the Home Office reverses its decision that he does not immediately qualify for police protection when visiting the United Kingdom.
