Chinatown Seafair Parade Seattle 2024 Shooting Investigations: The Seattle, WA police halted the Chinatown Seafair Parade 2024, following a major disturbance during the event. The event held on Sunday evening at Hing Hay Park was unexpectedly stopped after a fight broke out among a group of individuals.
According to law enforcement, weapons were brandished by the subjects involved. Stampedes were reported as crowds fled from the location after a parade participant alerted everyone of guns. Few Seattle locals reported bruises and grazed wounds that were majorly sustained during the stampede.
Police Investigations
Law enforcement agencies arrived at the scene on King St and Maynard Ave S Seattle, WA., and ended the carnival. Everyone was asked to evacuate the park as officers investigated the incident. A local alleged that at least two shots were fired at the location, Seattle Police has not confirmed the claims but said no injuries due to gunfire were reported. The parade is closed and all locals are to go home or move out of the park, a statement read.
