Who Was Andy Jasner?
Andy Jasner was a dedicated father of three beautiful girls and a caring husband. He was the son of the late Phil Jasner (a long-time Sixers writer for the Daily News who died on December 3, 2010, after a battle with stomach cancer.)
Andy was a freelance writer based in Philadelphia and Wallingford, Pennsylvania. He was originally from Havertown, Pennsylvania. Jasner graduated from Syracuse University in 1991 and has worked for newspapers, magazines, and websites including CBS SportsLine and ESPN.com. Jasner has written two books including The Baltimore Ravens and Phil Jasner.
