Seth Rice Drowning Accident: The King’s Christian School and Cherokee High School (New Jersey) community are mourning a 13-year-old student who tragically passed away in a swimming accident on Friday. Seth Rice son of Howard P. J. Rice and Sarah Rice died on Friday, 19 July, 2024, in a drowning accident. According to the family, the athletic student was pronounced dead after law enforcement was called to a scene of a possible water accident.

Who Was Seth Rice?

Seth Rice was the beloved son of Delaware State University graduate, Howard P. J. Rice and Saint Augustine’s University graduate Sarah Rice. Seth was only 13 years old when he tragically passed away in a swimming accident. He was an athletic student and a brilliant 8th grader. Seth Rice was also a dedicated brother to Sarai and Stephen. The 8th grader was a cheerful son who loved God.
