Ash, born Erica Chantal Ash on September 19, 1977, began her career in comedy and acting by appearing on sketch series such as ‘MADtv’ and ‘The Big Gay Sketch Show’. Her comedic talent shined through as she played famous roles like LaTanya on ‘The Big Gay Sketch Show’. She joined the cast of ‘MADtv’ in 2008, making her the show’s fifth Black female cast member in history. Her outstanding doodles included depictions of personalities like Naomi Campbell and Michelle Obama.
Ash’s television career has included important appearances in programs such as Survivor’s Remorse, where she starred as Mary Charles “M-Chuck” Calloway, Real Husbands of Hollywood, where she played Bridgette Hart, and In Contempt.
