Jakob Hill Sumrall MS teen and student at Sumrall High School found dead at business on Mississippi 589
Jakob Hill Sumrall MS Death: A student at the Sumrall High School in Lamar County, Mississippi was found dead at a business on Thursday. According to reports, the Sumrall Elementary School Honor roll graduate passed away tragically at the company where he worked as a salesperson.
According to Lamar County coroner Blake Matherne, the teenager was identified as Jakob Hill a student of Sumrall High School. Jakob was located unresponsive at the Olde Tyme Farmers Market on Thursday, 1 August 2024. Jacob was transported to the Forrest General Hospital where he sadly died. The business on Mississippi 589 was closed briefly due to police investigations.
Lamar County coroner Blake Matherne, Jakob’s body has been transferred to the state crime lab on the Gulf Coast for the cause of death. Although, the investigating department said, there are no reasons to suspect a foul play. Prayers have been asked for the Sumrall High School where Jakob was an athletic student. He was also a band member at the school. A special prayer has been requested for his parents as they mourn his demise.
The family will release Jakob Hill’s obituary and funeral arrangements.
