Meridian Shooting: 1 killed, 2 hurt in multi-car accident westbound on-ramp at Meridian Road, Idaho
Meridian Shooting Investigations: Law enforcement agencies are investigating multiple incidents in Meridian, Idaho on Thursday, July 1, 2024. According to the Meridian Police Department, officers were called to the report of a shooting on the westbound on-ramp at Meridian Road near the Roaring Springs Water Park.
According to the department, arriving officers located multi-vehicles involved in an accident. The incident happened on-ramp at the Meridian Road. A part of the park was closed due to the gunfire reports. At the time of this publication, law enforcement agencies have not confirmed if the shooting was fatal. CPR was administered to one of the crash victims.
According to reports, one person was pronounced dead at the scene, and at least two others were injured in the incident. Meridian Police say Meridian Road is closed due to the investigations. Motorists have been urged to slow down or take alternative routes. The concert of the summer at Roaring Springs Water Park has been delayed due to the heavy police activities.
