Wigan Car Accident: 2 hurt in road traffic crash on Enfield St in Pemberton, Wigan

Wigan Car Accident: Greater Manchester Police is investigating a car accident on Enfield Street in Pemberton on Thursday morning. Two people have been injured in the vehicle crash that happened on Enfield St, Pemberton, Wigan.

A heavy police presence is currently on the scene where the main crash victim was seen being wheeled into an ambulance. Following the incident, residents feared another stabbing had taken place. Greater Manchester Police confirmed that the incident was not a knife attack but a road traffic accident. An elementary school in the area was placed on lockdown following the incident.

Enfield Street near Lidl was cordoned off by the police as they investigated the incident. The lockdown at the area school has since been lifted, according to the superintendent. The identities of the individuals injured in the crash were not released.
